Warminster and its surrounding villages, are home to many businesses making unique products from food, drink, furniture, arts, craft, toys, to items for the garden and much more!

There are several firms making furniture, there is a well-known candle maker, an internationally renowned glove manufacturer with a factory shop, a local vineyard, local breweries, honey producers as well as artists and jewellery makers. So why not buy something from the local area as a reminder of your visit? Warminster Information Centre in the Central Car Park, holds a comprehensive directory of locally made products for you to browse through or pick up a ‘Buy Local’ leaflet from the Warminster Library for more ideas.

Our enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers and managers provide information about this lovely town and countryside.

Publications

Among a wide selection are brochures, maps, guides, postcards and books.  We have a ‘Blue Plaque Trail’ guide describing the Town’s historic buildings. There is also a good variety of walking and cycling guides.  The Centre sells the very popular ‘Cards for Good Causes’ at Christmas.  


Tickets

We sell discounted tickets for many local and regional events, for attractions around the region, and theatre tickets.


Transport

We help with transport from timetables to directions, or just to answer questions  about the town.  National Express and Chandler’s coach trips can be bought.  Disability scooters and wheel chairs can be hired at competitive rates.


Accommodation

We will help arrange and book accommodation for you from our list of recommended Hotels,

B & B’s, Self-catering chalets or camp sites, all of which are known to us.  


Souvenirs

Our souvenir offer includes local arts and crafts.  We also have flags, books and T shirts featuring the Great Bustard whose recent reintroduction to the area has been a great success.

Are also available from the Information Centre.

Powered electric scooters or manual wheelchairs loan service, to anyone with limited mobility  -  from just £3.00 a day
